Events
Our meetings are open to all members and guests. Meetings are free, unless otherwise stated. If you are not a member you are welcome to attend meetings but we would encourage you to become a member if you wish to attend on a regular basis. Membership is inexpensive and demonstrates your support as well as helping us to raise funds.

Meeting at 18 Lemon Street. After an update on business matters and progress at Wheal Busy Simon Wragg gave a video presentation about the 'Big Bang' theory. This was followed by a discussion on a number of aspects of the theory.

Site works day - 26 volunteers contributed 100 hours of work to clear the access lane. It was hard work, but well worth it as the planned work was completed in full

Following the signing of the Lease for Wheal Busy and discussion of other matters relating to the site plan there was a video presentation about the Planets. Photographs from the meeting and a write up about the group appear in The West Briton on 28 February.

With clear skies the meeting started with an observing session.
This was followed by a excellent presentation by Tony James about Galaxies.
The meeting concluded with a discussion of business matters and an adjournment to the bar.
